Blue Line Arts connects professionals, students, and professionals in the performing arts in educational workshops, mentoring relationships, and cultural exchange.
Our work has three goals:

Founded in 1999, we have created workshops and productions in New York, Washington, Boston, New Haven, London, and Edinburgh. Some of these works include:
- World premiere of Dan Koloski and Stacey Mancine's new musical adaptation of The Scarlet Letter, which opened in Edinburgh to a five-star review and sold out houses with a cast of both volunteer professionals and students from the U.S. and U.K.
- European premiere of Myths and Hymns, a song cycle by Adam Guettel ("The Light in the Piazza")
- First Boston production of Gareth Armstrong's noted one-man show, Shylock, followed by a student master class
This summer's world premiere performances of Doron Ben-Atar's Peace Warriors again reflects collaboration by volunteer professional actors and student/amateur participants, who have worked with us for several months to create this work.

Michael Bahar (Director) is a co-founder of Blue Line Arts and has directed all of its productions except Myths and Hymns and Shylock. He also co-wrote The Scarlet Letter. Mr. Bahar is a lieutenant in the U.S. Navy's Judge Advocate General's Corps, currently serving as the Deputy Legal Counsel to the Vice Chief of Naval Operations at the Pentagon. He is also an adjunct professor in New York University's Department of Politics. He holds law degrees from Harvard and Columbia, as well as an M.Phil from Cambridge University and a B.A. from Yale.
Eric Braverman (Co-Producer) is the Chairman and President of Blue Line Arts. He has produced hundreds of performances on four continents and was a co-writer of the new musical The Scarlet Letter, which premiered in Edinburgh to five star reviews. Mr. Braverman is a partner with McKinsey & Company in Washington, D.C. and one of the leaders of their public sector practice in the United States. He recently served as an advisor to the Obama-Biden Transition Project, the presidential transition team, through the inauguration of President Obama in January 2009.
Christopher Tine (Co-Producer) is the Executive Producer of Blue Line Arts and has been involved in every one of its productions since 1998. Mr. Tine has produced theater, dance, film and television in Europe and the United States for over 15 years. He currently serves as Executive Producer of the RIPFEST Collaborative Film Project, which has brought together over 1000 filmmakers in New York and Los Angeles to collaborate on more than 80 short films in 8 years. PLEASE SUPPORT US!
Donations to Blue Line Arts are our life blood -- we are a charitable and educational nonprofit that is run entirely by volunteers. All contributions are tax deductible to the extent permitted by law.
For each program we are faced with the enormous challenge of raising funds to pay for the day-to-day expenses that are needed to host our workshops and launch our productions.
We invite you to join us and become a member of the Blue Line Arts Alliance today.
